Trying to setup a staging server boss says just use AWS, system admin doesn't like that thought because it doesn't involve him so waited all day for 3 VM's and still not ready... All I need is 3 blank CoreOS VMs nothing fancy like even doing the cloud config no. Anyone else has colleagues scared of moving out of the private high maintenance servers in the basement?

    Aha I don't know how to take that, serious or sarki? But honestly some of my colleagues are scared to go forward and it's like rolling a square block.

    I can relate to your colleagues. AWS is massive. It's impossible to understand it all. And the docs look like they were written in FrontPage.

    Sometimes there are good reasons but a lot of people do not like change. A lot of people do not like there turf stepped on. I deal with it all the time.

    Docker is what I now use but currently having to use fleet but he's still using ispconfig without docker. I'd rather use Kubernetes but our resources are low, and also spin up VMs in seconds.
