@Michelle they need proof to send you to jail.
I was also accused of hacking my school. They even threathend to go to the police but without proof its just he said she said. Innocent until proven guilty.
At least here in the Netherlands.
And as long as you did nothing you will be fine. -
@MisterArie
Oh, true. I was so worried that I forgot all about that innocent until proven guilty thing.
Thanks. I feel really relieved now. :) -
Oh shit.. I forgot to blur out the name of my school district. I deleted the comment, but I realy hate it when I forget to blur things out before I post them....
I guess that's why almost everyone one here knows my last name. :/ -
@Linux
OKAY BUT THAT WAS REALLY SCARY BECAUSE WHEN I LOOKED OUTSIDE THERE WAS SOME OLD GUY STARING AT MY HOUSE.
I KNOW YOU'RE NOT SOME OLD DUDE BUT IT WAS STILL CREEPY. -
Wabby10347y@Michelle how do you know he’s not some old dude? Most people on the internet are just old men. Fact. 👍
-
VenomDev7167yLets just be honest, you hacked it! All programmers are hackers, we don’t have to hide that. 😂 (Atleast to everyone that watches us code)
-
I have been accused of making a bomb at school. And survived. So I don't think you should have to worry too much.
-
Well that's actually pretty cool if you ask me. They will be scared of you because they think you can hack their facebook, twitter, whatever account. 😂😂😂
-
@vhoyer
You actually remember. :D
As long as people are smart enough to find proof before telling on me, then I won't get in trouble by my parents. -
This situation is rather exciting, now that I'm thinking about it in a new perspective!
It reminds me of my manuscript where Blaise and the rest of Team Foxtrot are trying to find direct proof before they can arrest or execute Jace!
It's not the same situation, but it's similar. :) -
@ThaOneDude
Can't really update anytime soon. I'm in spring break for a week rn, so nothing's happening. -
fhomolka2447y@Michelle
That's good, nobody is knocking on your door.
I was in a similar situation, at my school somebody DOS-ed, using all school computers, an educational goverment facility. Fingers were pointed at me, but I was in the hospital at the time.
If you are wondering how does a goverement facility get DDOSed that easily, I'll say this. They send passwords in clear text in emails to people. Yep, even the 'high ranking' ones.

xewl41717y@Michelle If I were you, I'd go to a supervisor and tell your story beforehand, just because you feel addressed by fellow students, but have nothing to do with this. It'll harden your point and innocence afterwards. #beenthere #but-I-actually-did-do-it (with-permission-from-IT-department)
Someone hacked into a teacher's school district email, sending random stuff to the juniors.
When the principal sent an email saying any help in catching the perpetrator would be appreciated, a bunch of people from my classes were staring at me throughout the day.
Programmer != hacker
I hope they don't report me, I didn't do it. :/
