My boss once showed me how blind people read "colors" by running his fingers over the phone screen.

I can't believe what I'm reading honestly. Do deaf people listen to sounds by rubbing their ears on the speakers? Lmao

Reading colors on screen.. Hmm.. not sure if totally impossible.
I can imagine sending haptic feedback based on where the person's fingers are. Sure, not "reading" technically but you can convey the color with this approach.
