    @Nanos some usb cameras work. I have a stone age one from Logitech that I got to work. You could also just buy a longer ribbon cable for the pi cam...

    Is it possible to make a cloud server of it? Or sftp? And use a big sd card for the servers space?

    @jakobev I've got one running owncloud. The RPi3 is fast enough for most things imho.

    Yes. You can even build a cool project cluster with a bunch of Pis. Underpowered, of course, but a fun learning platform. @jakobev

    Plus if you know your Pi stuff it's a great icebreaker when picking up chicks at the bar. "Wanna swing by my apartment to check out my Pi projects and have a bubble bath?" - SWOON. @jakobev

    I think you would get signal loss with a long camera cable.

    @Nanos I can only confirm that about 1m still works. But then why not put the pi where your camera is? It's tiny.
