NPM is always a pain in the ass to work with, even for the simplest things. Every time I try to install something that is fairly complex and has hella dependencies with NPM, weird shit happens. Specifically the last time I did anything with NPM that comes to mind involved the dependencies of the project in question and NPM not liking each other and requiring a downgrade of NPM.
That said, this is random as hell - Python and NPM are two separate things, and the dude didn't get this was a reference. Completely understandable IMO...when I first started teaching myself web stuff, Node et al wasn't on the list... -
kurtr127557y@mgagemorgan I just used npm as a package manager reference since it's so well known. I was simply pointing out how easy it would have been to confuse the joke with a framework / library.

@kurtr It doesn't take a genius to figure out I don't use NPM above the most basic functionality it provides lmfao

To be fair Gama does sound like some framework and ”exposing” sounds like it could be a fancy term for remote debugging or something.

Comment of the week! I'm so sad he didn't catch the reference, but if the guy offers to teach him I'm down to learn 😂
On another note I can't blame him, I probably would have run npm -i gamma 😅
