If you want to annoy them: There's a benchmark floating around about which language (backend web) is the fastest and can receive the most concurrent requests.

manFrame9488yI am a .Net senior dev but in a large bit of irony I learned Java in college. I honestly think they are more similar than different when it comes to language. The real difference is in the tools and available libraries. That being said with .Net core, it can handle 5million web requests per second, so beat that java 😉

@manFrame no need, erlang can handle more than that on its own and still be scalable :P
