Me (1h later): Sure! Let me know more details about this new project.

Client (15min later): Oh, sorry, since you took so long to respond, we've decided to choose another freelancer. Thank you anyways!!

    I have to sin, I did the same as a client before, just not with same freelancers (thats retarded), sometimes a job is really an on demand thing and I search for somebody who can do it in the next hour, if its already taking 15/30 minutes to respond, then I already copy pasted it to 50 other people, that can do it immediately.

    Though thats fiverr too, not upwork, which makes it even more odd how you got treated.

    As a freelancer, a 1H turn around time is more than reasonable. I could be in a billable hour right now working on the clock...

    If you need a reply that fast/soon, say so when you send the initial message!

    Or, at least say it's time sensitive if it is... that's just common courtesy. I feel your pain @nanl
