Is going around different european countries with a tourist visa to find a job a good or dumb idea?

I heard in Germany companies place job offers in mail posts so maybe it's not so dumb....?

    Why don't just contact them online? You want to literally knock on their door or smth and just apply? In several different countries? How does this work?

    @retoor I am already applying on positions online, I either get ghosted or rejected.

    I was thinking maybe I should switch strategies

    @UberSalt getting ghosted is very lame. So unprofessional. Be nice to everyone. You never know when you need them right

    @retoor

    It's sadly a more and more common strategy nowadays.

    Guess made easier by the whole online thing, but it's still disrespectful IMO.

    Then again, it doesn't help either that many gen z workers do it too.

    I've seen it happen, them accepting an offer and then pulling a no show for whatever bullshit reason.

    Guess you fight fire with fire, and again, (even if this sentence will trigger a certain someone more than dissing JS), the fair pay for the foul.

    I guess you could try it, but it'd be kinda awkward to explain to them that you actually still need a work visa before you can actually start
