Third fucking kernel panic today and the nvidia drivers are still not working

Feel your pain. I have a t61 that only works with up to a specific driver version. Which is broken anyway in some aspects. I loathe when I have to upgrade Xorg, thinking when will it stop working altogether (@Linus fuck driver ABI).
Nouveau or NV are less broken in some ways, but they don't work right when booting or more commonly waking (something wrong in kms) in this specific model (probably will never be fixed since it's old)
