I dunno, I'd say C or assembly is more like dark souls.

Js is more like a rail shooter.

C is the hard to use but fun flight simulator @D--M

JS is more like a Bethesda game. You can do a lot with it and there's plenty of flexibility, but most of the time you're using some hack a rando threw together and it will fall apart when it's least convenient because of that.
