What is everyone's sentiment towards the stack overflow community?

Here's mine: People are often more obsesed about the way you wrote your question, rather than providing an answer... and even then answers are pretentious and condescending, often throwing their 'experience' around and telling people they are doing everything wrong.

I once asked a question about a game I was writing, written in JavaScript (browser game). I think I used a variable called 'p' for 'player', and instead of getting an answer for my question, I got schooled about why I should use more descriptive variable names (even though I explicitly stated at the end of my question 'by the way, I called it 'p' but it simply means 'player' and this code is only for testing)...

It's full of egoistic shitheads. I just hope DevRant doesn't turn out to be same as SO.
