Description
I had the idea of an website where you can find programmers and groups/meetups/events/hackathons near you. Thinking about Django or Firebase.

    @jespersh yeah but I don’t find many groups and it’s paid.. it should be like an alt to Meetup and only for devs

    Meetup.com has quite a good hold in having meetups set up for devs and other stuffs. If its gonna be specifically for devs whats the main catch in it?

    As much as I'd like this, I can't help but think it'll end up like this if it's a standalone service...

    For the most part, Meetup handles this and allows developers to explore other interests.

    @bcye That's an issue of your area and potential meetups not using the app. And meetup isn't paid? I use it regularly and there are plenty of meetups here in CT.
