Ok devs, question time. How has OOMs like UML helped you?
And whats your opinion on it?

Writing out UML is boring as hell, but having a good model to work from makes any implementation a breeze.

It's a tool.
Sometimes it's useful, most of the time it's not.

Been studying it for the whole day. Not a fan. Long and stupid concepts that are meant to just prolong a project, too little gain for such an elaborate tool.
Great as a documenting tool and, if your team is on board, probably good as a collaborative platform (although the technicality makes edits a nightmare).
All in all this is something I bet corporate software houses love!😂

I fucking hated it in uni. Specially since it was most definitely required for the glorified hello world applications that some of the teachers requested it. It was really funny because it was not required on ANY advanced assignment. But it was required in some classes for the most obnoxious/boring/retarded shit. Outside of school it has value, i am not saying they do not, but fuck it was so annoying to apply them to simple shit. It took less time to just write the code.

@AleCx04 True. Simple things just get twisted way beyond requirement with this shit.
