I had a 10 months experience as a developer somewhere in Africa.
My working hours were 8 to 5.
For like 4 out of those ten months, I closed work everyday at 7pm mostly because of such things. Not a dime was added to my salary.

I finally had to quit to safe my career.

It was close to 18h45 and I had just 1 minor change to be made in production code. Very simple one. Changing application Port and container Port forwarding. Easy right? Well, it's 22h28.. and I'm still at work
