Today I learn discord is not my thing at my age. 😔

Chatroom is not my thing anymore 😔

Not my thing either. Chatting with strangers from other end of the world that you will probably never ever meet in life doesn't sound worth it for the time spend to be active in there.

@HoloDreamer well I'm fine with conversing in slow frequency like at devrant. But the velocity of messages in a second in a chatroom is too much for me now.

I got into a habit of aiming for no notification life. So I either have to mute all notifications or clear the notifications. Like mails and devrant I do the latter. I read and clear.

Chatroom, I have to go with mute or leaving 😔

@ThatDude lol. No. My first internet days were inside chatrooms and forums 😁 so I am already used to the flow. And all of us are from devrants so it was way better than jumping into a room full of strangers.

But the text flood is too much 😝 me so old, friend. But don't worry. I'm now quietly lying in the #developer-help 😉

@CurseMeSlowly I agree, chatting feels like a chore nowadays. Gotta find those places with a good signal to noise ratio.
