I can't decide what to do. I don't like my job. At all. I keep looking for new jobs in my area but there are none (just missed an opportunity with Rockstar 😞). I've had an offer to work with a platform that I really, really don't like and requires travel all over the country, but for almost double the money I'm on now. Should I stick with my current job til I find something better? Take this new offer for the money? Completely resign and become a hermit in the wild?

take the offfer... you will travel, you will meet new people, maybe you will find new job options. Take the risk, otherwise you will stuck right where you are right now... forever:)

Scotland is a beautiful place to be a hermit by all means :) But looking at your rants it looks like a new job could be a good choice. Keep your expenses the same and work for a year and you'll have a years salary saved on the account. Then you can take a leap of faith and resign, look for a new job or code whatever you like for a year :) Double salary and mew contacts should be useful and traveling the UK is not at least across timezones like USA. Even though one get tired of living in hotels very quickly.

If I can give you advise..... I absolutely love my job can't imagine what it would be like to spend 40+ ours a week doing some shit I hate so go and do something you like and want to do..... fuck everything be HAPPY

Stick with your current job and find something you enjoy. Enjoy the journey. Life is too short.
