I don't really have an option to not use snapchat because it's the most used messenger at my school so should I use something else, I wouldn't have a social life. I hate snapchat with a passion though. Best thing to do is minimize usage and not completely cut it out as minimizing is much easier and works better.

Snapchat is great mostly because everything on the suggested stories is so boring and garbage that you would rather study for your exam!

Yeah it's person to person (or group) chat. It also provides person to person video and voice calls

I just dropped WhatsApp in favor of signal when whapp was bought by fb :)

@reshusinghhh Well it is only not visible like that. It's said to be the most secure (and privacy respecting, unlike WhatsApp and Telegram for example) messenger in the world due to the amount of data they DON'T save and the crypto the app uses.

I used to use google plus! I stopped using it last month because everyone kept urging me to post more, even though I already post a shit load a day.

@time2code Yes it is! Still trying to compile it myself but somehow I haven't (and can't figure how to) accepted the EULA agreement for the 27 SDK which means I can't compile it yet :/

I have realized that one of my assumption about slack is wrong. I thought a lot of tech companies are using it as main messaging app. I don't see anyone mentioning about that so far. 🤔

I modified my FB feed to serve mostly news and use it to communicate with friends I've made abroad. Instagram for fun and boredom. DevRant for a dev community.

Recently joined Mastodon and Diaspora. Don't really like Diaspora yet. Mastodon is fun but I don't have much to post about and the timeline is hard to follow sometimes.
