@Electrux people are lucky I don't work in a hosting provider, imagine how many people will be banned from their servers XD
-
@gitpush I m imagining the company being banned itself from its servers...
Client to company: hey I can’t connect to ur darn servers!!!!
Company to client: awesome! Nor can we ππ€ -
@Electrux why are you mocking me? I feel our customers, I make the entire company go through what our customers going through, now tell me, who in this world does this? WHO? :3

@Linux well that's something new, indeed I made one failed attempt earlier today, and I set my fail2ban jail.local to ban after one failed attempt
Guess had to learn that hard way. Thanks man :D -

@Linux but is it recommended to clean them? well auth.log is useless now that fail2ban is active, unless someone was able to succeed on the first attempt.
Gonna do what others recommended, disable password authentication in-hope I don't lose my SSH keys :P -
@Linux planning to though I need to mess around and see where this goes, I'm still completely new to these things, want to learn the worst cases then move on to what should and should not be done

@RodrigoF true in other sites either report, --, or lame ass answers
While here jokes, help or been there done that π -
@jespersh lool its just I use ssh keys, and I'm not running the worlds data on my server so I don't think there will ever be a time where I must access my server this instance or damage will happen, on my laptop I just use ssh keys but I keep password login in-case I want to access when not on my laptop (big emphasize on "in-case I want to access")
