Even if they make an option for shirtless male avatars, I don't think there would be shirtless female avatars, because it would raise content rating concerns in many countries, and would end up being unfair and sexist. Also, as this is a kind of virtual place for meeting people and talk about life and work, I don't see "attending" shirtless as apropriate. Just my thoughts.
