Let me be honest. I've been freelancing full-time for 2 months now (started 1st Jan 2024) and this feeling of not working for a company is making me feel weird.

Like I'm missing out on something. I am making significantly more money than I used to, though, which is my only feedback from this line of work that is giving me the motivation to continue doing this.

I'm sure I'm just overthinking.

    yeah, you're missing out on

    incapable team leads,

    greedy managers,

    meetings,

dirty kitchen (unsure, I don't know yours),

coworkers you never chose to work with,

and what else is "company culture"

    but wait

    until the tax declaration,

    until the customers complain,

until the customers don't pay their bills,

then you will really miss being an employee.

Are the youtube videos helping with your freelancing? I am always curious how that fits into the equation. A good content provider seems to do well. Trying to determine if I should work on dev blogs about my game dev stuff.

@Demolishun Yes it does help, in fact it's my only way to get clients. I post tutorials on Shopify and hope that someone sees it and hires me for their work.

I also get clients from Discord.
