Because speaking from experience and what I heard, you can never know whether or not you did well until they actually hire you lol.

I got the job! That was really quick 😮 And no i didn’t nail the interviewer @HelloUglyWorld 😂

@chellski27 I mostly studied theoretical things like how to explain polymorphism, encapsulation, etc.. and how the language works in the background, favorable interfaces, how the compiler handles keywords like ‘final’, .. I also relied on my skills of course. If you get an interview you should definitely prepare for personal questions because those were the hardest imo :)

@jelleken well you've added more stuff to my Shit To Google list at least... 😂 personal questions sounds ominous though. Do you work well in a team, stuff like that? Or like, stuff about your hobbies?

@chellski27 ‘What’s something that really irritated you about a coworker in the past’ ‘what are some difficulties you had with someone at a previous job’ etc.. but they asked it about people i made projects with in the past instead of about coworkers

@jelleken tricky to answer without risking seeming like a dick I guess haha. You get that type of thing in sales interviews but they just want you to brag about how you sold more stuff than everyone else...

@chellski27 btw, if you’re looking for your first job, having a good resume makes a huuuge difference so make sure you don’t use one of those crappy template ones but actually put some time into the layout and content :)

@jelleken I'm actually working on my CV right now! I think the content is good (once I've made some changes anyway) but layout is kind of bleh. Just a standard word document really with headings and bullet points n stuff.
