This is my case. But only because i have Windows on a ssd and Linux not.

Many hard drives have varying read speeds depending on the physical location of the data on the disk (outer vs inner area). It's possible that Windows is located in a slightly more favourable location of the hard drive.

Also, there could be problems that delay the startup of Linux. Which distribution do you use?

Mine is an Ubuntu 16.04. And I use Gnome DE over it.
