b3b343777yHoly shit ru cereal? I wanted to move from Germany to Denmark anyways so this is one more reason to do so I guess. Once (2 years ago, 1MB/s max), we called our "tech" support for help because our internet disappeared really often and when it was there it was way slower than a snail going through salt and shit. Guess what they told us to do: "can you please disconnect your box and plug it back in". I was so mad at those fuckers that I just did what they said without thinking and wondered why the telephone connection closed 😵

devs30817y@b3b3 Yes it’s pretty cool. I get 1000 mbps through copper fairly cheap (cheaper than what some other companies want for 300 mbps through copper).
The internet has been gone for 2 or 3 times this year, however I think that is to be expected for consumer level internet. And it was never down for more than an hour or two.
Last time the internet was down, I contacted the support. Because the company is pretty small, the supporter was practically talking directly with the technician and got a chat message exactly when they got it working again. -
monr0e12527yAlso had the same quality experience in the UK with Origin, although their hold times are a bit lengthy and their infrastructure is better suited to particular areas.
Much, much cheaper than Zen though.
My ISP advertises themselves as IT-nerds. I once contacted the support, not tech support, just the usual support. I wanted to use my own router instead of theirs, and the supporter actually knew how I should configure my vlan and a lot of other technical stuff.
Why aren’t all ISP’s like mine?
