tkdmatze4437ybest line is the last one "simuliere",
this switching of languages (i am from germany too) is sometimes really messy -
tkdmatze4437yjust saw that you are doing this at the rwth. finished my studies there 10 years ago.
Good luck with statistics -
DataSecs9377y@tkdmatze They told us the first line of "simuliere" was supposed to call .refill(), even though they do it before the method call 🤦

DataSecs9377y@tkdmatze And yea I heard a lot about that 😂😂
As I'm first semester I am currently struggling with discrete structures 😓 -
DataSecs9377y@Torbuntu Totally, to be honest it really pissed me off. And I complained to our tutor, that's it's crap what they are doing, but he didn't really care 😅

@ashleymoss124 I also went to college. But I'm a marketing student and I want to take programming courses like Java. Due to lack of time, I found a law essay writing service, I use https://edubirdie.com/law-essay-wri... for this. I think I'll sign up for the course soon. There are many options, now I think where exactly to go ...

@Root I pursued higher education by attending college, where I focused on marketing. However, I have a strong desire to expand my skill set and delve into programming, particularly through courses centered around Java. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I have been utilizing a law essay writing service called O'Connor-PhD Law Writers to assist me in managing my workload. Nevertheless, I am determined to enroll in programming courses in the near future. With numerous options available, I am currently deliberating on the ideal educational institution or platform that aligns with my goals and aspirations.

So I just started going to university and have a subject called "programming", we are taught Java, Haskell and Prolog. Every week there is a sheet with homeworks, programming tasks. Often we get something like a boilerplate, so we implement some methods and stuff like that. Those tasks are prepared and created by scientific assistants. They upload the boilerplate and sheets. Take a look at the programming style they follow in Java. Actually I can't find a pattern they follow, except from the spacing between the lines. We are 1000 students in the informatics course, of which probably 10% know how to properly program 😅
So like 900 people see and adapt/learn this real bad coding convention. It really pisses me off, that they basically don't give a shit about convention or teaching them. I have to say that the logic some times is as worse as the conventions 😓
Besides I am not cocky with conventions, but I think at a high-class university they should teach proper convention.
